In just three sessions together you will learn how to create a kitchen environment that lends itself to nourishing meals. Through a series of simple tweaks and healthy substitutions you can make eating well a simple shift rather than an all out overhaul. By changing the way that you think about food you will begin to create systems that work for your lifestyle and find that you crave the nourishing foods that nature provides. Once you learn simple label reading tips, which brands to purchase and where to shop you will never look back. I will provide you with a customized pantry list, a spice/flavor guide, and numerous kitchen efficiency strategies and shortcuts to make your transition enjoyable and transformative.

Session 1

During the first session we will spend our time discussing your current food habits and choices and where there is room for improvement. We will explore your knowledge and skills and help you find simple ways to begin improving your efficiency and confidence in the kitchen. 1 hour.

Session 2

The second session will focus on developing your real food knowledge, we will go over the basics of how to make decisions around food that benefit your health. We will work together to develop your understanding of food labels and the importance of choosing mostly foods without them. Because having a fridge and pantry that is full of the most nutritious and delicious foods available is the first step to better health, you will learn how to stock up on the basics in order to create beautiful meals and snacks with little effort. This session generally takes place at your favorite market so that we can design a plan using simplified grocery shopping techniques to make shopping and cooking fit painlessly into your lifestyle. 2 hours.

Session 3

In the third session we will discuss the importance of eating a seasonal whole food diet and how to easily plan and prepare simple dishes that taste amazing. Progress proceeds perfection and the goal of this series is to make food preparation an effortless part of your self care and something that you actually enjoy doing. In this final session we will work at developing the knife skills and cooking techniques that will liberate you from being chained to the kitchen in order to eat well. 90 minutes.
