Standard Green Smoothie
- greens, spinach or kale
- seeds, chia, flax, hemp, sesame
- coconut, unsweetened shredded
Frozen produce works best, but fresh is always an option too. Combine desired amounts of fruit and greens in a blender with water. Using a few tablespoon of a healthy fats like shredded coconut, hemp, chia and/or flax seeds will create a more filling smoothie. I also frequently add in some avocado for a convenient quick meal. When starting out add a small amount of greens, but increase this with each pitcher.
